i need to replace my primary gasket and i know there is a pattern to tightening the bolts back but cant seem to rem it. is it like tightening the lugnuts on a car? i know you just dont tighten straight around!! Help please!!!!
If it's inner primary, you also need new bolts... but go with aforesaid star pattern.
Same on the derby.
Outer primary, just gradually increase the torque on each bolt in either clockwise or CCW direction... whichever, until you reach the torque spec. Like if the spec is 25"/lb, do the first round at 10.. next round at 20.. finish round at 25... (numbers used just for example).
