Hi,
I have an 09 Lowrider and want to change the bars. Really liked the new 8" mini apes on the new switchback or maybe the 10" ones on the fat bob. Looking for something that is a little higher and pulls back more. Any other suggestions? I found a complete kit to change everything(levers, housings, lines) at hillcountrycustoms but looks like they only have it in 12". Really would like to do a kit like this if I can find in the right kind/size of bars I want. If anyone knows of other kits out there, sure would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks!!
I got burlys on mine, They have all different sizes of bars I think their website www.burlybrand.com anyway you can save alot of money by doin this your self all you need is a service manual and a little patience, I did mine with help from this forum and a service manual I hope this helps
That link you gave shows they'll do anything from 10" to 20" bars. I just finished putting 10" bars on my Sportster. Comfort is much improved, but I did a pick and pull of parts and installed myself. Your best bet is to sit on different bikes and find a handlebar you like, then match up the specs.
All said and done it was under $300 for me. Although, if I were to charge myself labor like I would on a customer's bike, it would've been more like $500-$600 bucks. I went with black vinyl for the cables to keep cost down.

Thanks for the input. I found out the company can do a 10" for dynas(on their website it shows only a 12" option for my 09 fxdl). Being a girl, I didn't want to go with a 12". Now I just have to find the shortest riser possible for 1 1/4" bars.
also remember that your idiot lights are in your stock risers and youre going to have to figure out something to do with them, thats the problem i have right now
