Has anyone installed these pipes?I like the look but I don't like the fact they are pieced together. Any thoughts from you all? They are priced cheap which i don't mind paying $500 for pipes but I just don't like anything that's on the market yet.
Not for me, but they're pieced together because they're stepped (a good thing). I thought it looked like it might be a problem getting to the dipstick then I read this: To service your oil, the rear pipe must be removed to access the dipstick.
Is there any information on the pipes performance? Maybe I missed it but I do not see any thing on the web site about how well they work. If they produce great performance and looks thatâs good but if they are just for looks and performance is marginal than I think I would pass on them, but that is just me.
To service your oil, the rear pipe must be removed to access the dipstick. For the average person who changes their oil every 3,000 miles or season it takes 5 minutes.
hummmm what about for checking oil .. hell what that but they do look cool
Dont like em, they might look OK on a chopper but on an otherwise stock Dyna I think they'd look silly. That and the fact that they interfere with the oil dip stick is enough for me to say no thanks.
