Default Hand grips

Hey everyone, picked up a 2011 Street Bob in November after riding a sporty. I love my Bob and have done some work to her already. My question is, any suggestions for hand grips and how hard are they do change. Thanks

Piece of cake. Before i changed mine i was a bit nervous. If you have stock grips the left one you may as well just cut it off, that is if you are just tossing them. Both grips sides you have to open the switch housing. Now the throttle side you just have to be careful with the 2 brass ferrels that are on the ends of they cables. Just take your time and you will see its easy. If you get stuck just post where your at and we will talk you through it.

I changed my grips to ISO TB grips. Very nice/comfortable. Follow the installation instructions that come with...no worries.

Thanks guys! I figured it isn't that hard. Just didn't want to get jammed up halfway through.

Easy as said above I got some all black HD grips that look like the Alvon's and PM ones. I love them a lot.

ED be careful on the throttle side not to snap the rubber end of the microswitch off. If that happens your brake light will stay on permanently. Easy remedy take a piece of cardboard about 1/16th" thick. crack the front brake lever and jam the cardboard in there to allow the switch actuator room to not to tear the little rubber nib off. It is all in the manual.
I had kury iso grips but changed them out for PM renthals. Love the renthals!

Hd sells grips called: "get a grip" they are renthol like PM but cost quite a bit less. I have the large size (magnum) as I have really big hands. I have had these grips on for some very long trips and they are super comfortable , keep there grip in the rain, and look great. They are some of the nicest grips I have ever had. Im not usually a big fan of HD accessories but these are nicely made.
