Looks real nice! How did you get the Logo onto the plastidipped tank, and have you had any problem with gas drips on the tank.
I painted it on with a stencil, and it is holding up great. As for gas, I manage to get the nozzle in the tank without drips most of the time, and the times I do forget, if I just let the drops dry (don't wipe them) it seems fine.

Real nice! After seeing how good yours came out, I am very tempted to try it. Did you remove the tank and tins or just mask?
This may be a dumb question, but how do you wash the bike with the dip on it? I would assume that you have to be somewhat careful???
The only reason I ask is, I seem to get caught in the Florida rain at least once a week - which leaves a bunch of grime on the front of the bike.
I did my truck rims about 7 months ago. I wash my truck about once a week. I wash my rims as if there wasent anything different about them. SO far so good no issues. I have even used wheel cleaner and waited till the brake dust came off and then washed it. I figured the chemical in the wheel cleaner may harm it but it hasnt.
128 it will peel off your gas cap. This stuff is great for things you dont touch. With getting gas a few times a week that stuff would peel right off. But then again you could try it and let us know.
Thanks pontiac69! That's what I thought.
I do like the stock fuel gauge in black, flush mount black cap and gauge are nice but too many lights to my liking, can't trust those HD leds. I might plastis dip the gauge and paint the gas cap flat black.
