I live in an area where it is almost impossible to keep dust off my bike. If I were to plastidip say the lower forks and leave them overnight in my shed how would a thin layer of dust affect them before they were completely cured? I would probably do them during the day and let them sit out in the sun for a few hours before putting away for the night just curious...
if i remember correctly it doesnt take too long for the stuff to set up.
try spraying a somewhat thick spot on some scrap and leave it in the same area you plan to leave your bike so you will know for sure.... better that than your bike

Did the A/C cover, mirrors, highway pegs, headlight hood and headlight ring.
I think it turned out pretty good. Thinking of doing the fender brace and passenger pegs next. Also wrapping the exhaust next week hopefully.

how are you guys taping it off and leaving clean edges? doesnt it come off with the tape when you pull it? I want to do my fork lowers but Im not sure how to go about it. Maybe a razor between the tape and dip before peeling?
