sorry im not a harley rider yet, i have a 2001 triumph speed triple, when that is finished i am building my 02 sporty i just bought into a bobber, anyways i have just learned about plasti-dip and im so excited to do this to my triumph and its awesome there is now a place we can show off r toys, if u dont mind its a triumph, but i am starting this weekend it is flat black and grey now but its going to b blaze blue and black, will post pics as i go, hope u will like and thanx for giving us a place to show off r toys and ideas, have a great nite
i would love to hear an update on this to see if it started to burn/melt or not

Plasti-dipped my heat shields 2 days ago. Figured I would throw it up here. So far it hasn't melted....fingers crossed.....may end up taking all mine off as I think chrome is where its at for me. Here is the list of things I used this stuff on:
Fork lowers, triple trees, handlebars, crash bar, heavy breather, dash, headlight trim, horn cover and all the windshield hardware including the detachable clamps. Had the battery cover completely done but the seat rubbed the top and it started to peel so only a portion of the band is done in it.
