stage one air cleaner

Default stage one air cleaner
Going to get a stage one air cleaner and was wondering if you can run the stock air cleaner cover that comes on the 2012 street bob with 29773-02c the round air filter stage 1 kit. I have one of those air cleaner trim covers and i would like to be able to run it open most of the time but be able to put the stock air cleaner cover on if going on a long trip.

Yes U can. I don't because I like the look of it open and it shows more of the motor.

That ac has a dry air filter. if you went with the arlen ness big sucker it comes with an K&N style (might even be made by them) oiled filter and looks identical. probably will save some money. also accepts all 93-up oval or round O.E.M. outer covers.

Why do they make 2 differnt ones for this bike if you can use the stock cover on both of them? The other SE stage 1 filter is shaped more like my air cleaner cover

Dunno why but u can get what u want from Fuel Moto. Go to their website and look or call them. They have great customer service and back up what they sell. Just my 2 cents :-)

I suppose they make the round one for the ones that don't want to use the stock cover. However it works with the stock cover.

Can you replace the paper air filter from the kit 29773-02c with a K&N filter? While changing cables last night I found out my bike has this kit.
