I've got the same as Chamba I think, 10" mini apes with 4" straight up risers. I had buck horns (stock) and 4" pull back risers, but the risers were hitting the speedo housing and I wanted my hands flatter instead of angled down so I replaced the bars too. Got'em if your interested. Really comfortable, no stretching or leaning forward.
My SB had 10 inch Mini's that were plenty comfortable. Problem came in when I bought a Fatboy and had 12.5 inch Wild 1 Chubby Bars installed. The 10 inch bars just didn't look right side by side with the FB.
SB just got LA Chopper 12 inch Nice Curves installed and I hope to get it back soon.
Also a question for ya guys who have switched to the mini-apes:
I have an '03 FXD that I wanted to put 10" or 12" apes on. What cables did you guys use? I am on a limited budget and the parts guy at my local HD dealership said I could use stock Wide Glide cables with the stock Wide Glide mini-apes.
The problem: The stock Wide Glide apes look anemic compared to some of the chubby bars, but I dont want to mess with changing the handle bar clamp.. Any suggestions?
(dont mean to steal the thread!)

The chubby's are narrower at the grips and clamp locations.

what he said... and I think no riser and 10" you can stay stock. is there not a thread here to search that. I went with new cables b/c I was upgrading the look too. now I can fit my current 10's or move up to 12's without another cable change.
Update....I went with 12 outlawz should be picking them up today. how much extra cable well I need?
I went from stock to 12" bars. My brake and clutch are stock street bob cables and I bought +6 (36 3/4)on the idle and throttle cables from magnum shielding. Stock wg cables are 67 11/16 clutch, 30 3/4 brake, 30 3/4 throttle and idle. Street bob stock cables are 2" longer on all of them. I found all the street bob cables to be a little tight with my bars. See my signature pic of the brake cable. A little tight but not wrong. As well my clutch cable comes up the right side downtube as uposed to the left side. This gave me 2 extra inches. My bars are 34" wide from grip end to grip end. So if I were to redo my bar install i would install +4" over stock wide glide cables. This will give you 71 3/4 clutch, 34 3/4 on brake, and 34 3/4 throttle and idle. This size cable will be perfect for 12" bars and 2" risers. IMO
