07 st bob engine light
I'm a bit concerned.... I'm waiting for my HD shop to reopen after Christmas but in the last week or so the engine light on the dash comes back on for a few seconds after it has initially been on and then gone out.... It doesn't matter if I start the engine as soon as it goes out or letthe bike sitafter flicking the run switch on it will still come on for a few seconds again. It does not come on at any time while riding.... should I be concerned or is this normal....the bike has done about 1600miles.....

any mods?
typically if the light comes on for a minute and then goes off, it is a history code (something caused a code but is not currently an issue)
but if the light comes on and stays on, then you have a more serious issue.

this thread has instructions on how to check what code you are getting......then search for a list of codes...it's somewhere on this website, i just dont remember where.
