Default Sears Mod. 50191 bike lift

Sears has this lift included in it's Craftsman Club sale next week. Many lifts need an adaptor to work with the Dyna and they don't mention if this lift needs one. Anyone used it on their Dyna? Any feedback would be great.

I use the 50190, with no adapter and it works perfect. I took a couple oil absorbant pads and taped them to the lift point so i dont scratch my frame. It' a little tricky to get the bike on it cause it's the same height. I wheel the lift in between the front tire and the frame and pull up a little on the handle bars and roll the bike forward. The jacke sits on the front of the frame, and in the back on the kick stand and the ear that drops down to protect the oil pan. It's really sturdy but i run a rachetting strap throught the motor to sinch it down.

I doubt if any bike lift will automatically work on a Dyna frame. That skid plate for theoilpan is the culprit that requires the H-D frame support from Harley. It is a bunch of orange and black plastic blocks that attach to the frame to act as leveling devices to offset the skid plate.

It is a nightmare to use just to lift the bike.

Nightmare?? Your not serious are you?

Jim, This is what you need.

Part # 98965-99 $21.99 at your local Stealer.

Not to be a smartass but there are literally dozens of threads about this. Do a search in the Dyna forum. Tim

i got the yellow one, and the blocks. yer gunna need the blocks no matter what lift you get.

i went with the yellow over the red because it is lower, and theres no need to put the bike on ramps before lifting it.

I've got the yellow one and the block kit and it works fine. The yellow one also come with a set of adaptors for dirt bikes.
