I said almost the same thing,minus the MPG,I don't want my bike to be a pig on gas,so maybe I'll have to live with it,it hasn't stopped rainning here so I haven't had a chance to get back on it,I believe there is a smart tune on it,I remember my tech saying that cause he put it on his as well,and this guy is good at tuning,if i don't like how the bike is running(popping)I'll brin git back for some minor adjustments.
I have the SE Pro Race Tuner & my tuner had it on the dyno for 7 hours & it's dialed in perfect. The AFRs were richened & timing advanced throughout the entire rpm range, including at idle. I told him to tune it to get the most out of it & forget about fuel mileage. Most tuners will compromise on this unless you specify how YOU want it tuned. I have absolutely NO decel popping at any rpm or gear. It's all about how good the guy tuning your bike is. My bike runs and sounds like a different bike after the tune. I have the SE breather & V&H twin slash slip-ons....bike sounds healthy now.

I did my VE,modified AFR, Advance etc....... and the bike is about to be OK with decell poping.
Could you provide me the tuning file 176AE106-001 xxxx.dt0 the guys injected in your bike to compare with what I did.
Cos I worked alot on advance and first column of VE and I would want to know if it was the only way to resolve the poping pb
