Since I changed the accelerator pump setting it starts immediately all the time. Still gets a kickback when hot. i was thinking of a Daytona Twin tech ignition. Anyone else have one?
I just installed the Daytona twin tec on mine, I now have communicationwith my laptop and need to learn how to adjust the ignition curves for the bestperformance, I’m giving the S&S G carb every opportunity to prove itselfbut I still am not happyL

I have it but was put on with the build so can't comment on performance without it.
My Daytona Twin Tec ignition should be here today and I will be installing it and moving teh clip on my needle on the Mikuni as well tomorrow. I still avhe a terrible flat spot around 3500 RPM's. I will make some adjustments to the accelerator pump too. I need to get this completely sorted out and am curious as to what difference i will feel with the new ignition as I have never done a new ignition on any of my rides. I'll report back once this is all done on Saturday.
Hogpro, I have the Daytona Twin Tec Installed and started with the recommended settings mutli spark, 5 on the advance, and 5 on the curve, rev limit to stock, It seems to be running a little better than it was with the stock ECM but there does appear to be a slight hesitation on acceleration? I also bought the TC88 PC connect program and cable and now have it communicating with my laptop, not sure where to go from here their information appears to be written more for tuners than guys like me but I guess I will just tweak it a little and see what happens. I asked them for recommended settings for my build but all they did was sell me the PC connect equipment. Mine’s a SE 103"with S&S 583 easy start cams SE II exhaust and a Hyper charger and S&SG carb. I may post up something on the forum and see if anyone else has messed with this and what they recommend.
I responded to your thread. I am taking this over to a buddies house who is going to help me adjsut it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I already have hesitation at 3500 mph. A big flat spot so i will adjsut my carb as well but I am sure with some fiddling we will figure out how to get this adjusted properly and I'll let you know what we do.
