I also have a 2007 FXDB.&nbsp\\; Something really does sound wrong with your mileage.&nbsp\\; I now have 6,000 miles, but have gotten around 40-45 mpg since it was new.&nbsp\\; It is stock.&nbsp\\; I love to wind it out and ride fast

Ethanol in your gas will lower your mileage.&nbsp\\; Look for a station that sells non-oxygenated premium gas.&nbsp\\; Here in MN the MN Street Rod Assn. publishes a list of stations that sell the good stuff.&nbsp\\; that.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I get 38-40 mpg all short trips (less than 5 miles)&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;with cold starts.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; 40 MPG in all city driving.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; On the Hwy. I get as good as 46 MPG

I'm getting somewhere around 34-36 MPG on my 07 Bob.&nbsp\\;Low fuel light comes on somewhere around 120 miles give or take a few depending on how hard I've ridden it.&nbsp\\;And, it's broken in. I've always attributed the poor mileage to my PCIII which I installed at about 400 miles although it probably wasn't much better&nbsp\\;in those first 400 miles.

I don't believe you mentioned the type of riding you were doing.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Around town, out on hiway.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Combination....I've had times when I get 32 up to 42.&nbsp\\; Wind also makes a big difference.&nbsp\\; \\\\\\; This is with a Stage II 103ci baby build with cams, Ness B/S, PCIII, Rineharts and dynoed.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Before the build was done, Mu mileage was better.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Don't much keep track of it anymore.

My 08 is getting 42-44 in town and I have yet to take it on any highway trips which expect would be much better. I also just bought the bike and it has just over 500 miles so it really isn't broken in.
