I also have a 2007 FXDB. \\; Something really does sound wrong with your mileage. \\; I now have 6,000 miles, but have gotten around 40-45 mpg since it was new. \\; It is stock. \\; I love to wind it out and ride fast
Ethanol in your gas will lower your mileage. \\; Look for a station that sells non-oxygenated premium gas. \\; Here in MN the MN Street Rod Assn. publishes a list of stations that sell the good stuff. \\; that. \\;\\\\\\; I get 38-40 mpg all short trips (less than 5 miles) \\;\\\\\\;with cold starts. \\;\\\\\\; 40 MPG in all city driving. \\;\\\\\\; On the Hwy. I get as good as 46 MPG
I'm getting somewhere around 34-36 MPG on my 07 Bob. \\;Low fuel light comes on somewhere around 120 miles give or take a few depending on how hard I've ridden it. \\;And, it's broken in. I've always attributed the poor mileage to my PCIII which I installed at about 400 miles although it probably wasn't much better \\;in those first 400 miles.
I don't believe you mentioned the type of riding you were doing. \\;\\\\\\; Around town, out on hiway. \\;\\\\\\; Combination....I've had times when I get 32 up to 42. \\; Wind also makes a big difference. \\; \\\\\\; This is with a Stage II 103ci baby build with cams, Ness B/S, PCIII, Rineharts and dynoed. \\;\\\\\\; Before the build was done, Mu mileage was better. \\;\\\\\\; Don't much keep track of it anymore.
My 08 is getting 42-44 in town and I have yet to take it on any highway trips which expect would be much better. I also just bought the bike and it has just over 500 miles so it really isn't broken in.
around town about 38, highway only 47 and I get that 2 up or alone does not seem to matter I drive the same as you \\; I dont baby it but I dont beat on it
