LOL...Thanks fellas!...Well, wenT to ride it,wouldnt ya know, freakin battery died. So, go to the parts store, they say its good!?..WTH! Come back put it on, fires right up.So I go for a quick spin around the block, get home, turn it off, it fires right back up. Hmmmmmmm
So leads to my next question,if starting the harleys and just letting them idle without riding them, does that drain the battery? Its been sitting for about a year or so.....
Oh, it a 98 dyna convertible
welcome from oz (down under) . down here we have this stuff called loctite it stops nuts and bolts from coming loose from the vibrating. i put it on all nuts and bolts and have never had anything fall off.
I've heard that if you start the bike, you need to ride it for 20 minutes to charge the battery back to where it was before you started it. I don't know if it's true but starting it does a pretty good drain on the battery.
Yea, I tried looking it up, but couldnt find any info on that. I did check the battery, its at 12.9. Running it was at 13.5 give or take, went up to like 14.?? when reving... So I assume its charging
