What is a non-functional suspension? Stock?
Are you trying to say those of us that don't buy into the blacked out wanna-be look are all posers?
Once upon a time blacked out was considered outlaw perhaps, but now-a-days it seems like all the johnny come latelies think it makes them look badass...whatever the hell that is...
I get so sick and tired of people that want to label anyone that does not share their ideal perception of what a "biker" is suppose to look like, as a poser or some other dumbass label.
- suspension
- tall rigid bars
- mid controls
- fairing
- 2-1 pipe
- big motor
- brakes
- blacked out
I don't see a personal attack on anyone's biker manhood here.
I personally disagree that a club bike is always blacked out. I think RB got that bullet point wrong. Here in SF i see lots of very colorful bikes being ridden by patched clubbers and supporters. White powdercoat, chrome, etc. It's all there. Flames, scallops, etc. I see plenty of black bikes too, but black is the classic color - you're going to see lots of black everywhere.
Blacked-out or "murdered" dynas are a build/color style. Tangential to outlaw clubs but not directly related by any means.
If you want to disagree with the "must be black" point, as I do, go ahead. I don't however see RB or anyone else saying that having or not having one makes you more or less of a "biker".
