Putting anything on a jack suspended in the air is "use at your own risk"!
Stupid is what stupid does.
A little common sense goes a long way!
I push my jack under my bike, place a small leveling block on the back side by the kickstand stop, jack her up. I have sufficient clearance under the tranny and clutch cable.
Bike does not move or wobble.
I STILL STRAP IT DOWN...FOR SAFETY!
As for the J&S Jack, it still looks like you need something to compensate for the offset Dyna frame. Correct me if I am wrong, but please explain.
The arms of the jack are long enough and spread far enough that nothing is required to compensate.
If you use common sense there is no need for a sticker that only stupid people stop to read anyways. If youre bike fell on you then that should be a valuable lesson for you.
Theres no warning in my pickup that says not to put it in drive then run out in front of it and lay down in front of the tires. You know why there isnt a warning for that? Because nobody should stand in the way of natural selection
People who are so stupid and make mistakes like that can not read either. I.M.O.
If you want to know why insurances and sometimes products are so expensive you read post #1
Idiots do stupid things and then try to put the blame somewhere else. If the product fails...OK but otherwise it's a big no, no.

I guess now is the time for me to brag on J & S jacks. I have done it before but their customer service comples (?) me to continue. No problem with the lift itself. Sturdy, ease of operation, quality, and mobility. But, I have had a problem with their jacks leaking oil. I contact them with the problem asking for help to stop the leak. No way. They send me another jack, Waranty is expired and this jack leaks. I don't axe to replace, just tell me how to stop the leak. They say easier for me to replace the jack instead of working on it. They indicate the jack folks at fault but they will stand behind the product. On my third jack for a couple of months and no leaks, so far. I don't think I should haft to change out the jacks either but maybe thissun will continue to be ok. They don't want me to return the bad jacks, just can 'em. My point is, their product is very good and customer rervice is outstanding.
Why is it the manufactures fault for your own ignorance. Own up to your screw up instead of suing somebody. This is why this country is so screwed up and insurance and related stuff cost so much because of sue happy people!
