Wrapped mine but never sprayed them. I kinda dig the nasty rough unpretty look. But if you do spray, go with the proper hi-temp spay designed for the wrap. It doesn't cost any more than the bbq paint and you can get it at the same place where you got the wrap.

I used this stuff from Thermo-Tec -

Called high temp Cool-It exhaust paint and comes in various colors in a rattle can - I used black exhaust wrap by the same company so went with the black paint they recommend and also sell. Can be found from Summit, too. Helps keep temps down a bit I suspect and gives the wrap a bit more durability and darkens it to a real black color. Looks good IMHO.
