I have the race tuner on my 2005 FXDX with a big Jims race motor and the bike starts right up and runs great. The bike was dyno tune and it run perfect. I have the program in a box, with a cable to hook my laptop to change the tuning, and make any kind of changes I want.

So whats the verdict on these tuners? Can you use The Screamin' Eagle Pro Super Tuner (SEPST) on multiple bikes or is it only good for one?

The suggestion above that its possible is the first time I've ever heard of this. Everyone else and all documentation says it marries to the ECU on first use.

It would be nice if it was true that you could can use a SEPST on multiple bikes but I highly doubt it.

Its only good for one bike. It cannot be used on any other bike after its initial use

Yes,they put your vin number into the tuner,so it's married to that bike, my wife did hers first last year and I thought of every possible angle to have mine tuned as well without buying another tuner, but theres not way.

I may have to check this out by trying my tuner on my wife's sporty...

Not having anything mounted is what makes it a good choice. Once the program is downloaded to the ECM, there is no possibility for tuner failure (unless the ECM itself fails). The other upside is that it's Harley's product and they do the install. The downside is every time you do an upgrade it's a trip to the dyno. The ones similar to the Fuelpak stay on board, and if they fail, you are back to square one. I was considering doing the Screamin' Eagle on mine, but now the new Cobra PowerPro has me intrigued...decisions decisions
