I run. V&H big shots and the V&H duke a/c on mine. Had the same type of goals, and love it. RSD had some sick a/c's but they were twice the price and I'm on a budget. Plus keepin it all with the V&H matched my bike perfect!

Blackwolf, I meant PC-V, sorry.

If I was to do it all over again, I'd definitely go with sideshots, regardless of baffles and the SE stage 1 a/c - and if you care for better "breathe-ability" its super easy to do a cut out of the stock cover just like this: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...r-cover-6.html
looks simple and clean IMO way cleaner than the SE big flow sucker 3000 (you know what I mean) For your application its an extra 100 bucks that just isn't necessary.

Definitely call Fuel-Moto for the PC-V, they offer great support

- i might have had one too many writing this post, but I think its all on point.

He has a canned ham shaped AC on his bike, so he would have to buy at the very least the SE round AC kit and then he would need a football cover to cut out...so he's gotta spend the money.

SE Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit (the round multi-fit)
SE Street Performance Tuner Kit
Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered (or Sideshots)
Quiet Baffles

My Questions: First, am I going lose power anywhere by doing this? Let's say this is all installed properly, the tune done correctly, some people report loss of power or torque somewhere in the band. Anyone experience this or have any advice?

Second: I really like the look of both the shortshots and the sideshots. The sideshots being more expensive, I'm hoping they are indeed better for mild power gain. Anyone confirm this or contradict this with experience? (I do also like the sideshots a bit better aesthetically.)

I'm not looking to make a racing bike, but I don't want my bike to become anemic because I want it to look and sound cool. Low end response I think is more important to me than top end power, but I'm stating to split hairs a bit. Bike is currently stock.

Thanks very much for any help!
I would go with power vision from fuel moto ,and the side shots look cool, I have the a SE ac for sale sent you a visitor message with pics if interested let me know.

Unfortunately for us it does not. However, he can usually find the SE AC used for a decent price and make a cover. I have $50 into mine total.

Thanks again for all the advice! A few other things I've been thinking on and researching.

Does the fitting of the sideshots to a 2012 make for an easy retrofit? I think the only difference is the o2 sensors, and it was made to sound easy by the mechanic... anyone do this without serious issue?

Also, while I would think bags would sit high enough, the exhaust tips are further forward. Is this a worry regarding heat on the front of the bags?
