Default Handlebar risers

Hi, first post as a member here. I just won a 2013 super glide custom and waiting for delivery. While sitting on the bike I was thinking of some upgrades and felt like the stock Hbars could come back a tad more. I was thinking maybe 2" up 1" back. Would I need to change the cables? All suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

No you won't need to change any cables there's members on here who've put 10-12" risers without changing any cables

Is there really that much slack for 10 to 12" risers?

Thanks Krazy8s. Actually, my brother won the bike in a Hell`s Angels raffle and gave it to me for the price of the raffle ticket ($100.00) plus tax on the bike.

I installed 2" spacers/risers from http://www.spacerjim.com on my 2013 Wide Gilde and the stock wires/cables worked fine. I doubt I would have been able to go more than another inch or two before having to get longer cables though. I beleive the stock risers are 4" and with the 2" spacers I have a 6" rise. HD makes a 6" pullback riser if you want to go that route. Also, congrats on the new bike.
