Sorry to hear about the the accident. Hopefully you're ok. I had to the same issue when i went into HD. I went in looking to buy a 48. Saw the WG and the Blackline. Both are bad *** bikes. Both had the 103, both had forwards, both set up for 2 up riding. I thought the handle bar position was more comfortable w/ the blackline but it didn't like that the handlebars where integrated. I left the dealer and slept on it for a few days. I went with the one that stayed in my mind the most during that time. WG. Also, i would consider a 2013 streetbob it's now avail with a 103, new aesthetic changes and forwards. SBs are right on the money also.
I don't think you can go wrong with both. Do you want a sporty feeling Dyna or a cruiser Softail? And if you're up in the air on that question, it may just come down which has the paint scheme you prefer.
Why do you ride? People ride because nothing else can give you the same feeling or experience. Those things are personal, and not only can someone else not know how I feel, they can't tell me how I should feel. Pick your bike yourself.

couldn't agree more...
also something to keep in mind... what are you going to do to the bike? If you have a particular look in mind for the future, you have to think about what bike will allow you to get there.
when i bought my bike, i had one thing in mind... function over form... which can only be decided by you.
good luck
Six16 - I'm getting better everyday. Thanks. Yeah, I was actually looking at a Switchback or the SB but the WG was by the front door and it came home with me.
Well, this time around, there are no WG at the dealership so if I wanted one it will have to be ordered from another dealership.
I was able to check out a Blackline while I was out of town. I really like the way it looks and it felt good sitting on one. No test ride though.
I like the looks of the Blackline, but when I test rode one it was one of the most uncomfortable stock bikes I've ever ridden. I had to hunch over to reach the handlebars. If you have long arms it may not be an issue for you, but make sure you ride one before making a decision. Of course I'm partial to the Wide Glide because I own won and believe it to be a great all around bike.
