Just wondering how hard it is to get to the fuel pump and will I have to get any new gaskets just to sight in the tank to check for any pin holes?

No the gasket is rubber. Did you look up your breakdown for the fuel pump in the link I posted?

Just went to the site and pulled up the drawing! Great site! My biggest concern is getting in there and finding the pin holes! So I've read some on here about replacing hoses with the gates submersible and I just wonder how hard that is to do?

I have to second what Tbone said in an earlier post. Check your tank vent. I have had a damn doodle bug make a mud nest in the end of my vent hose twice in one year. Or just crack the gas cap loose next time it acts up , you will know instantly if that is the problem.

No problem. A lot of us have replaced the OEM clear plastic line with Gates/Napa submersible 5/16 fuel line.
