LED Fuel Gauge?

It seems that the Long Grey Wire that came with my LED Fuel Guage has the wrong connector on one end of the wire. I removed the yellow/white wire under the speedo and installed the grey wire no problem. The problem is on the other end of the grey wire (@the conennector under the tank). The wire has a round fitting on it and all the other wires that go to that connector have square fittings. I can not get the grey wire to fit the connector. Just to see if the thing works I taped the the long grey wire to the grey wire coming from the gauge. The LEDS seem to work but the low fuel light on the speedo is still lit. Has anyone else had this problem with the wrong grey wire end? And shouldn't the light on the speedo not be there anymore?

i had installed at dealer, and low fuel light is on and stays on and the security light comes on now taking back to see what is going on

I have the Kury LED gauge. All the LEDs function properly but my low speedo fuel light never comes on. Figured this was normal.

Swell, was just about to make this purchase as well. please let us know as I am planning on using my tax return for this and other additions.

I'd say go ahead and buy it. I think some how mine got the wrong wire put in the box. I haven't had a chance to go to the dealer yet, and I don't expect them to be able to help me. The parts guy at my dealer is not to up to date with HD. Last year when I went to him to order plug wires he asked " Street Bob, thats a sportster?, Right?"
