Default Pictures from the dealership

So I just got an email with some pictures of my new bike. I leave Italy early Feb. and I get about two days in Orlando to pick up the bike and ride up to Jacksonville for 2 weeks to out process from the Navy. (Getting out by choice btw).

I have already put together a list of ish that I want to do to this thing. DK customs tank lift and coil relocation kit, some kind of different bars, (14" somethings I haven't decided on yet), lower the rear.... and the list goes on.

Anyone around the Orlando area up for a ride to Jax around the 10/11th of Feb? lol

Welcome back (almost!)

I'm in Savannah 2 hours north of Jacksonville. Give me a shout when you get to Jax and I can ride down there. orlando might be a stretch since I won't be able to take vacation at the time.

Congrats on the bike! Congrats on starting your civilian life also! Glad you had a choice, a lot of Sailors are not getting the option any more. Good luck and be safe!

Thanks guys. And SLV, I'll shoot you a message when I'm heading up there. Don't know how much time I'll have to ride around there, but we'll see.

What do you guys think about the 2" vs 3" tank lift from DK Custom? I'm thinking just going with the 2, but I'm not sure. Would I have a problem with the 3" after switching the bars out?

I read somewhere that the 3" lift requires you to fiddle with the crossover line but the 2" kit just bolts on. Someone from DK will chime in; they're very helpful.

Thanks SLV, I'll probably just go with the 2" as I have never read any problem with it. If this turns out anything like my current bike, there will always be another project in the works lol.

BTW this is my current ride, the 01 Shadow. Had a great time moding this bike, but I'm ready for my HD SB. And before anyone asks, I would never wish these roads on a bike as nice as this. This place is the worst in the world for a nice bike.
