Yes. If you do the math, you'll find that the outside diameter of the two tire/wheel packages is only about 1/4". The stock 21" set up is noticably narrower, though.
you can't just bolt up a 21 inch harley wheel. you would have to find a after market rim or use the hub and lace one up.
Not True! I got a 21" stock HD wheel and it bolted right up in place of my 19, just change the rotor over, the only thing you need to watch for is the axle size, make sure they have the right bearings for your size axle. If you have a narrow front end get the 21 for narrow and so on.
Yes you can, depending what front end you presently have on your machine.
I bought a 21 inch wheel that came off a Sportster (chrome rim w/ aluminum hub on Ebay and bolted it directly on to my 2003 Dyna Low Rider to see if it fit. Went on perfectly using the Dyna axle spacers as well. Brake disc bolted right on.
Take note: This was a 3/4 inch diameter axle. Year 2004 and later use a 1 inch axle, so watch out for that.
I removed the wheel and tore it apart because I wanted stainless spokes and an aluminum Ankrondt rim. I posted the details of my building of this 21 inch wheel earlier this year here on the forum.
