Too true. And you're right. I have been on a performance boating chat board for 12 years and every Winter members get tense with each other - well some of us...

in the past we have taken HD touring lower deflectors and cut and modded them to work off a dyna headlight bolt mount... i have one on my bike and love it... some pretty rude responses to this guy... i know i hate when i have wind that kicks up from under the tree and just shakes the **** out of my helmet when i am riding... makes cutting some deep S curves at high speed a bitch when you head is shaking like mad... i never had the issue without a helmet but now that i rock a lid 100% of the time i have had to make some changes to adapt the bike to work a bit better for me while riding. nothing wrong with that.

Do you still do the mod to the deflectors? I would love to have one on my Superglide.

Today I finally installed the deflector on my 2007 Wide Glide. I'm sorry to report it is no help in reducing the wind. Back to the tool bag under the headlight, which looks like crap but helps a lot.
