I guess I'm in the minority, but I like it. And I've never been a fan of them personally but this one looks pretty bad *** to me. Fender looks more in proportion than the original which was way too long.

^^^ Agree. 1" longer reservoir shocks in black, black out the fender struts, trim the bottom of the license plate bracket (clean up the stock crap reflectors) thunderheader, mid controls relocate front turn signals to forks and black them out, black out headlight buckets.

Result badass DIFFERENT bike.

I am part of the small group that thought the old Fat Bobs were pointless, just another parts swap bike. Now it actually has its own character and style. In fact it now has the most style of any new harley. Best designed stock seat I've ever seen, tank graphics are cool, wheels are cool. Hell even the stock air cleaner looks good - probably the only harley I've ever said that about.

Rear fender is hideous I'm good with everything else. The body lines did change some but that could be the fugly fender throwing me off

remove the turn signals and integrate into the brake lights. remove the plate light and move the plate up. trim excess platemount. add led license plate bolts for legality it wouldnt look too bad.

then get a quarter fairing and relocate the front turns to the mirrors. and i think it'd look pretty decent.

its just goofy in this stock config.

The dual headlights are a pretty tell tale sign of which bike you're seeing. I like those, one of the reasons I bought my FXDF. The new tail light and paint striping on the tank are absolutely disgusting design cues. The stripes on the tank are at a different angle than the shocks which would be the only logical thing to line them up with on the bike.

That tail light and huge low-hanging plate mount are just plain ugly. Maybe if it wasn't at such an angle and didn't look as plasticy, it would be better. It needs red signals, not sure why it still doesn't come with them. Smoked tail light would be a little more bearable, not the bug eyes it has now.

The black touches are nice. Rocker box covers, triple trees, headlight trim etc. Not sure why Harley felt the need to completely butcher the back end and the tank though. Ruins the whole look of the bike. Definitely does NOT look like a Harley.

I like it. It's not first on my list to buy, but I've always appreciated the attitude of the Fat Bob and it's really a rider's bike (it's a Dyna after all). I dig the new wheels, but I'd be nervous as hell come every tire change.

I went to my dealer today to see if they had any in stock yet. They still had 5, 2013's on the floor. Salesman said HD won't ship any until they get 3 of the ones they had sold, yeah right.

i did not like the looks of the 72' in photos, so I cannot say either way. The first thing across my mind when I had seen the taillights were of the movie Wall-E.
