Ok, so after I serviced my ride last weekend, I was still having the starting issue. Then I remembered reading something on here a while ago and decided to give this a try before replacing the neutral safety swtich.

Replaced the batteries in the FOB. Problem sovled. My bike is a 2011. So probably built sometime in 2010. I didnt actually take delivery till Jan 2012. This being 2013, those batteries are probably a few years old, so I replaced them both. The first time I went to start the bike after replacing the battery I had to push the start button 3 times before it kicked over. I am assuming the FOB had to synch up. Ever since then I have had no issues.

Hopefully this will help someone out in the future that runs across the same issue.

So yesterday when I went to get on the bike I turned the power on, hit run, fuel primed, and when I went to push start...Nothing. The bike was in neutral, but I thought maybe it wasn't "all the way" in neutral. So I turned the power off, downshifted and back up to neutral, repeated steps and started up no problem. Chalked it up as nothing to worry about.

This morning leaving for work, I usually coast out of the driveway onto the street a little bit before firing it up so I dont disturb my roomies. Well I was coasting down the road, so definitely in neutral and same thing happens, push start and Nothing. I shifted into 2nd and pop started.

One more time today leaving for work, same things happens again. Now this is three times in less than 24 hours, so I am starting to get concerned.

Anyone know what is around the corner for me?

Appreciate the input!
