OK guys sorry bout all these questions but i did a search and couldnt find anything that would help get my fuel pak to fit under the cover. Can someone please help me this is the only thing i have to do and im done. It looks impossble to get to fit
wheres the ecm do you have any pics? do you have to take out the two torx screws at the top? Do you cut the zip ties holding the wire together for more play? Ive tried about anything i can think of.
When I did mine last year, I could not get the Fuelpak connectorunder the seat. I tried all kinds of things, including pulling the battery box all the way out. In the end I rerouted it in front of the seat compatment between the frame and the engine, similar to the PCIII instructions I had seen. I did not take any pictures and have since removed the Fuelpak and gone with the download.
The FuelPak is down in a hole towards the rear near the rear fender, the other end that is connected to the bike is laying flat in the space between the battery and the electrical box. That connector hits the bottom of the seat somewhat...
Thanks for the pic i really appriciate it Did you guys remove the whole box that has all the electrical stuff in it what that cover covers? I removed the 2 torx screws at the top and the thing still wont budge.
What year and bike are you putting it into? I stuffed mine into an '06 Bob. Let me know if you still need help and I'll go to the garage and check, it was a real bitch though.
Mines and 07 street boband there looks like its impossible to get in there . i unplugged it will i loose the calibration i just tuned or does it stay? Im afraid of pullin the whole box off cause there wire running everywhere and that one wire with the connnector on it is stiff as hell and wont hardley move.
