I also ordered the 1" for the 2011 FB. Jim said he mailed them out this morning. I looked at bars and the clutch cable concept about being too short seems correct.
No - will need to change cable for 2-inch on 2011.
Its also been torqued and feels very slightly wobbly but it will work and I like the new comfort height! Had to adjust mirrors too and I can see more angle -GREAT add on!
Spacer Jim sent my 2" spacers out yesterday. I'll know by the end of the weekend whether or not there's enough cable play on my 2014 to squeeze them in. Without the spacers in hand, it's hard to tell - there's play left in the cables with the 1" installed.

Received spacers and bolts from Jim yesterday. Installed the spacers this morning.
There's no issue with 2" spaces and clutch cable length on my '14 FXDF. Here are a couple of quick photos of my still nearly stock bike with the spacers installed. Ignore the down-turned headlamps - there just rotated temporarily for the install.
