Those Fox Creek bags, attached to some detachable sissy bar plates would look real good it think. Fit between the signal lights, and the shock. No signal relocation other than outboard on the mounts.

Maybe post a model number on those bags for reference? Think this is a nice option.

also the inside part between the bag and bike is very thick tough plastic so it would be easy to mounts the brackets

You can also do like I did, find them on sale used (mine were as good as new @ $400).

You are eventually going to spend the $ for better bags anyway, don't waste $ making up your mind with something you won't be happy with.

Here's how close they mount:

And here's what Ethel looks like without them, very clean.

Yeah, I like the LP and will eventually get there. Unfortunately, I have shocks, tires ans some non-bike expenses coming up.

I already bought the used Barebacks from F. O. and will order bags soon. A dude at work has the same Motocentric bags and they are very well made, especially for $118. If I used bags for more than 3 or 4 trips a year, I'd wait until I could justify the LP. As it is, these bags will be fine for a season or two.

Fix Creek makes some nice mid-priced stuff. I looked at their bags, but I want canvas.

If you are undecided about bags, take a look at http://leatherneckjims.com/shop

Their synthetic bags are very good looking, I have had mine for 7 years and they still look like new.
Plus Jim provides great service.

My buddy has EasyBrackets for his bags. IMO they stick out way too far on his Dyna. I just got my Boss Bags. Gonna slap them on in the next few days to see how they fit before I start my teardown for powdercoat...

JP,
Nice bags, but many of us have bags that came with the bike. Probably if I had to do it over again would have looked into other quick mount bags. Such as it is, Barebacks were best for me.
