JP,
Nice bags, but many of us have bags that came with the bike. Probably if I had to do it over again would have looked into other quick mount bags. Such as it is, Barebacks were best for me.
Roger
I understand completely. We are all pouring $ into our rides and we have to set priorities. Just wanted to share what I did to show others what Boss/LeatherPros look like. To me, the fact that they mount so closely and are built so well was worth the money.

Good luck with your choices.
And good stuff it is. I love the LP setup, but like you said.......priorities. I need something for a couple Spring trips, but my money is going into suspension and tires in the next two months.
I also am not satisfied with the TS relocation options for the short fender Street Bob......so I'm designing my own. It might cost me a little too.
I tried to make throw overs work for me. I used easybrackets and made backing plates. After that they looked like crap and never looked right. Went to Leatherpros and couldn't be happier. Rock solid and look great. Worth every penny.

So what are you designing? Always enjoy seeing unique parts.

It's not too complicated, but I have a few requirements.
LED
Bright
Small lights
Compact arrangement
So, I plan on fabbing a license plate bracket similar to this, but with enough holes for two or even three lights on each side.
Them,
Install these very small, extremely bright bullets on each side of the license plate. The array would be two or three bullets stacked in a tiered arrangement.
These lights are very small. The lens are is a bit larger than a nickel, but they are brighter than 1157 bulbs. I figure that two or three on each side will still be very compact, but really bright.

Yeah, I haven't found anything I like either. I don't even think I like the bobbed fender on mine. I think I would prefer the full length fender. I'm going to run th leather pros, I REALLY like their leather Tsport bags, but, I think they'll look like crap with the shorter fender.
I've been rattling a few ideas around in the mean time, but, nothing I'm happy with yet. Interested in what you come up with as a finished item.
