i run a mac laptop and i am guessing that most tuners won't jive with it. it's cool that you can choose to auto tune or not if you like.
and no matter what you can get new maps and tune to whatever changes you make to the engine i gather
I also am using a Power Vision with Auto Tune and like it a lot .
I have found when doing a Auto Tune it is best to ride more then 25/30 miles . I found my best gaines if I do a short trip . I set the Auto Tune and ride around 100 to 150 miles and then down load that . I can really see and feel the difference . I also look at the new table before loading .
When the changes get to be very small I stop and just ride . It takes me three or for Auto Tunes before the bike is real happy .
You could probably do an up and back in the same day. Be prepared, as the wait can sometimes be longer than the ride there.
There is just a ton of great riding in that Area!
Going that way in june to meet up with some forum chaps. Might make it by there on the way back. Also got a bud in Cruz and I could crash on his couch. We got some amazing riding here too. It was 85* today!

Hey soft 02, like discussed before I have no lathe for drilling the pr tubes and I had bought a Dremel drum grinder/smoother but thought that might be a little hard to be precise with, so I thought I would just sand the inside edges off with some Emery cloth. I figured if the prs were to hit the inside of the pr tubes, the most likely place would be the inside edges at the top or bottom of the top pr tubes.
Here is a pic of one sanded (left) and the other not yet(right):
