Default Input for parts/mods.

Hey.

Haven't gotten my bike yet, but as I'm getting ready for spring and my new bike ( will be here in a month ) I already have some parts in house, and some in the mail.

Bike: 2014 Vivid Black Fat Bob

Will be delivered with D&D Bobcat exhaust, PM Max HP AC, SE204 cams.

Parts already in the house:

PowerVision from fuelmoto
JRI 12" shocks.
Ricor Intiminators

Parts in the mail:

True-Track
Black 49mm fork boots
RSD preload adjusters
RSD Tracker belt cover
Mach 2 horncover
Custom derbycover
Arlen ness rear led turnsignals

About to order:

Wrap around led fork turnsignals from Chromeglow.

Gonna powdercoat the strutcovers, and maybe the bars and headligt when I get the bike.

So any thoughts? Anything important I forgot?

Money is running short, so no big upgrades, but advice on cheap mods are welcome.

Are you going to tune the PV yourself or do you have a very competent tuner available to do the job ? I heartily suggest a pro with a dyno to tune it ! Many threads here about such a thing and mostly good advice in them !

If he got it from Fuel Moto ... they will have it set up to what he has done. It will get him very close to what a dyno guy would do.

No dyno's around here in the northern part of Norway. That's why I ordered it from Fuelmoto, only heard good things about them. I think it's gonna work great as soon as I flash it. If not, I'll just have to make a weekend of it and go get it tuned ( about a 12 hour ride to closest dyno, each way hehe )

That all sounds pretty nice, on top of a very nice bike! I dig that Bobcat exhaust although I think someone mentioned that it rubbed their shock mounts when they put on 13" or so shocks, which is something on my list to do so I'll be anxious to hear your update.
You're gonna have one happening bike there

Yes Im aware of the exhaust-issue. Thats why I ordered the 12". If I decide to go taller after the first season, I'm gonna have to mod it or change it...

What I'd really like is a real raw racing exhaust, but I havent found anything that bolts straight on, so maybe thats a project for next winter...

Yeah, I can't remember which thread I read that in about it rubbing the shock mounts. I'm kind of hoping they just nudge it out a few millimeters to ensure clearance, then I think wham-bam, I'd be joining you sooner than later on that one!

Your bike is going to quickly be very nice.

One thing I would recommend is a set of aftermarket fork springs, you're already going to be in there, you may as well put high quality springs to complement your Intiminators.

Check this thread.

Yes, I've been considering new springs. I've been in and out of that thread many times, but 50 pages !?!

Can't you just give me a rundown of what I need? I would think I just filled in the form at Traxxion and they get me the right springs, and use 5w forkoil like Ricor recommends?

And why Traxxion? Is it a well known brand in suspension over there? I've never heard of it before.
