Yea I know what you mean.. I'm going to have my pipe twisted eventually but I'm concerned because it wasn't hitting before the mount. I don't know if there's something wrong with mine and it's moving too much or if it just moved the motor up slightly and I can modify the pipe which I will do anyway. It's literally driving me crazy. I think I'm gonna put the stock mount back in tomorrow til I can figure it out
Looking at your pictures, and comparing to others...its more likely your exhaust needs some tweaking. The VT mount seems to allow more front to rear movement of the engine (soaking up those vibrations).

Yea I was thinking the same exact thing.. That sucks I don't want to cut up my exhaust to reduce some vibes... I'll call vt today and ask them about it. If nothing else I'll go back to the stock isolator til I twist my header and then try the vt again but I think that's just gonna move it closer to the peg mount

By "tweaking" your pipe... as was mentioned in a previous suggestion, you may just need to "dimple" the pipe at the location it is hitting...similar to what you would do if your car headers were too close to a crossmember, or steering column. Use a ball peen hammer or a brass drift, and start out with a small dimple. Since your pipes are black..this would be easy to do, and its in an area that doesnt look visable. If you dont want to do that...you may also want to look at changing the spacing on your peg mount. Does it need to move up, down or inboard to clear?
I emailed vibra technics about the issues I was having and they machined me a new bottom block. It moves the mount point 2mm forward and 4mm down. Seems to have made a little more clearance between the peg mount and pipe. Nice to deal with people that stand by their product. Great customer service. Just put the new bottom block on tonight I'll post on if it solves my issues tomorrow after a ride

Thats good to hear, I am looking forward to hearing your feedback.
I took the bike to work today and the new block seems to have fixed the clearance problems. The roads were wet and slick so I could ride very hard but the pipe didn't hit at all. Hopefully the weather holds out so I have some dry roads on the way home to rip on it and make sure the pipe won't hit anymore

What the hell more could be said about a company?! Answer me that, just what more could a company do? All we've ever read is that this guy/company made something good, here's an example of an adjustment, the guy/company drops what they are doing to make the adjustment, sounds like if it's not an evolutionary change at least one that satisfies an application!
If everyone else on this planet committed gestures like this, this world would be quite a ways out of the crapper it is in!
I don't even think I need one of this mounts yet and I can't wait to order one!

If I'm lying let God strike my parrot dead!
Lol you crack me up. But yes this company is on their stuff and after dealing with a few lately that could give a crap about their customers, it's a breath of fresh air to deal with guys that want to be the best. What happened to good healthy competition to be the best? Well I don't know either, but like you suede, I DIG IT!
