When I took my stock mount off at 10K it was knackered. The rubber had splits in it, it wasn't just sagging a bit.

My front mount was bad from day one. Replaced it with a new one. A little better but I'm not impressed. Will try the VT mount (which I purchased) when I get the fever to work on the bike. I've had HD's since 1972. The 2010 DWGlide has to be the worst for vibration. Might even be more worse than the old Electra Glide shovels I used to ride for work. Gave a lot of autographs back then. Hence the 750 miles I have driven it since new.

I'm still havin issues with my pipe hitting my mid mount peg after installing this mount. It feels like the damn thing is broken. I'm going to go put the bike on the lift and check to make use none of the mounts on my pipe are broken but at a quick glance I don't see anything. I pulled the bolt cover to check the bolt that goes through the isolator and it's tight. I checked all the other mounting hardware and everything there is tight as well. Last weekend I installed a rear stabilizer and that hasn't helped anything either. It did tighten the bike up but didn't do anything for the issue I'm having. Every time I hit a good bump or get hard on the throttle or brake the pipe hits the mid control mount. It seems like it's getting worse. Anyone got a picture of how much clearance they have between their mid peg mount and their pipe? I'm wondering if the thunder header just sits closer and and that's why I'm having issues or if there is something wrong with my front isolator I just installed

Just to show the clearance. You can see where it's hitting

Anyone see anything obvious? Does that space between the top and bottom piece seem right? I just double checked and everything is tight... Nothing broken on the exhaust mounts. I'm bummed I was excited about this mount but if I can't figure this out I'm going to go back to the stock isolator and buy a front stabilizer

Bummer reading about your exhaust problem. On my FB with the Tommy Gun header, there's only about 1/4" space between the pipe and the mid-mount peg bracket, pretty much what you show in your pics, but I've never had issues with them bumping/rubbing at any time. I'm running the OEM front motor mount and the TT unit front and back. Don't know if these willl help you or not, but here are a couple pics taken from the bottom and from the top. Is it possible your motor vertical alignment is off? Hope you get it figured out.

You got a pic of the clearance on the top of the pipe and mid mount? I need to check my alignment but I'm pretty sure it's ok. Thanks for the pics bud

I wouldnt hesitate to pull the exhaust and add a clearance dent or mod the mid control bracket. Thats just me though, and I have come to the conclusion that with all of the wonderful aftermarket goodies we can buy that they usually take persuasion to fit just right. I would clearance the mid bracket first and try that alone, as it looks like there is plenty of material to remove.

Yea I know what you mean.. I'm going to have my pipe twisted eventually but I'm concerned because it wasn't hitting before the mount. I don't know if there's something wrong with mine and it's moving too much or if it just moved the motor up slightly and I can modify the pipe which I will do anyway. It's literally driving me crazy. I think I'm gonna put the stock mount back in tomorrow til I can figure it out

Before you do that I'd contact Vibra-Technics for their help. From what I've seen their customer service is top notch. .they'll want you to take measurements with the mount installed. Can't hurt.
