......................... You have more than a slight pressure problem ; in about a week , you have lost 15 lbs of air ( that's about 50% of the tire total capacity) ? You most likely have a leaking tire !

well, the first time i checked it i didnt use the gauge.. just kinda thumped it and made sure it did'nt feel low. today while i was cleaning up in the garage i found my pressure gauge so i checked it again. i filled her up to 41 lbs this afternoon and will keep an eye on it.

41 PSI?
What bike are you riding.

My SuperGlide runs 30-31psi in front and 38psi in back unless I am going 2-up, then I bump the back to 40 psi.

Motorcycles tires are sensitive and react to small changes in tire pressure (1-2 psi makes a difference). Your owners' manual or shop manual will give you the correct pressure ranges. If all else fails the plate on your fork will give a number for weight capacity and pressure.

Other than that, in time you will learn what works for your bike, suspension setting, weight and riding habits.

It looks like you already learned it hates low pressure...

Go on YouTube and google Harley maintenance. Mike Durham is on there and he shows you how to do the fall away.

the specs on the tire said 41 psi i thought... seemed high to me. I'll have to check in the day light.

Look at the bike specs not the tire. The pressure listed on the sidewall of the tire is maximum pressure.
