How about plain old Windex for all metal and Spray Away glass cleaner on a new towel on the windshield.
No build up and it works fine. Its fast and eazy. Used it on my V rod for 5 years and for the last year on my Dyna. Every one who sees my bikes, says they looks new. I ride most every day, though I must admit here in California we don't see to much rain !!!!!!!!!

Always carry a re-sealable envelope of Pledge wipes and a couple of micro fiber cloths when we travel; can usually find them on the road too; nothing exotic or expensive...just grocery store stuff. Great for windshields and visors; just don't do the inside of the visor before you ride, do it after the ride..."fumes" can sting the eyes inside a full face especially in hot weather.

I think I have tried just about every quick detailer, Pledge type items. So far, Dr. Fockers Duck Juice and wax has to be one of the best products I have ever used, www.drfockerz.com.
I have a black 02 UC and tried all the anti-swirl waxes but this product works wonders for my bike. And the detailer is the best I have found.
Might seem pricey but it works well for my ride.
