Nice bike. Dual disc from the factory= HD getting a clue. Have you purchased an intake? Might consider one of these, http://www.exotx.com/filters.htm
if not. Particularly if you ride in the rain or would like to forget about maintaining oiled cotton filter element. Toss it in the dishwasher if it gets greasy. Damn happy with mine, beats hell out of the Vance&Hines VO2 I was running.
woody how are you liking the bike? ive got the same one same color and all, i should be at 1k mile service VERY soon, then its off to the dyno, i kept the stock look for the air cleaner, but i did the high flow conversion because i put on a pro pipe. i wanted the stock look/high flow because for some reason im always in the rain! im going to put in the competition baffle for the "extra 2 hp" hahaha on dyno day, ill post what happens after that. aint this "small" bike fun?!
I love my bike man, has just over 2100 miles now. I'm slowly getting her set up as I want. I'm really torn in putting ape hangers on the bike or a very nice leather Le Pera seat at the moment.
i looked into doing 10" risers and a set of moto bars but the headlight being top mounted to the riser set up and all that crap seemed to be a pain. i also wanted to do the gauntlet fairing but memphis shades says its a no go.... at the moment. but i love mine too. that thing loves the open road! good luck with it!
I'm debating replacing the light with a lower mounted Roland Sands light and then figuring out the riser issue. I did the Thunder Max and have to say wow! It's totally awesome. And you're right about it loving the open road. Riding the 88 miles up to see a buddy is a blast.
