rust on front rim
2013 superglide custom is my bike, bought it new. I was doing a detail cleaning today and found rust spots on my front rim. How this thing happened? A brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle with less than a year old already having rust on its chrome. Its hard to believe. I know I live here in rainy washington state but harley chrome has rusted? Anyway, I'll suck it up and press on.
Has anyone know how to take care this rust problem on my chrome? Thanks in advance.

Dealer told me when i bought my 13 sb to clean the wheels every 2 weeks with mr sheen or whatever cause they will rust, pissed me off after the money I'd spent, but if thats there way of getting me to buy mags they can get stuffed, ill clean the ****ers every week.

Here on the East coast, I've been warned not to head for the streets the minute the roads are bare in the spring. Its apparently better to wait for a good rainfall or two. They put some nasty crap on our winter streets and there's no undercoating on bikes.

Chrome rust faster than any thing else on my bike...found something to help tho...you will not believe me if I tell you how good it works...a company called re-clean makes a line of cleaning products and a guy cleaned my wheels with the re-clean "break away" it gets everything off even rust with no wiping at all but I wouldnt get it on my aluminum or paint. Just spray it on crome let it set for a couple mins and spray it off with water...and repeat if necessary. ..the stuff is blue and I git a gallon for $12. It made my 6 year old wheels look new
