1+ for the BOB!
I have the stock seat and the Le para 2up Silhouette. I think its clean and low looking. I hate the look of large seats in the rear. I think this one flows into the fender better than any other 2up seat for the Dyna- See my pic
I don't think that you would regret getting a Street Bob based upon what I'm hearing you say. Give one a test ride and you'll find how much fun they are to ride.
Well, you guys have said what I sort of thought I would hear. I am traveling in Hungary right now for work and just called the Harley dealer to arrange for a test ride Saturday. If all goes well, I'll have 2 bikes in the garage. One point to note is that to make it 2 up, I need pegs, peg brackets, turn signal and license plate relo brackets as well as seat and backrest.....about $1500 retail with labor so I would try to accumulate the parts over time as I wouldn't need them immediately.
Thanks again for all of your comments, you guys are really helpful.

Labour??? For seats and pegs? Come on man! Typical touring guy...don't worry, we'll get you squared away doing your own work in no time now that you are a Dyna guy.

Too funny, yes, I do my own work when it comes to that stuff (I have had dealer installed items before where they messed things up, I can do that for free) and would be doing the same here, just surprised you have to move and add so many parts to just get pegs and a backrest on it. I think the parts are in the $700-800 range new, and if I can be patient, I could probably shave it to $500 with some used/sales and do the labor myself. Since she has her own, no hurry on the 2-up add ons.
