I think you're right - now that I know what to look for, I can't find a single 2014> for sale on Ebay UK without the 'black box' (but none of the ads mention ABS!).
If you go back to the first 20-40 pages or so in this thread, I seem to recall a number of UK LR owners saying something about no non-ABS equipped HDs or LRs for the European market.

Because all the reviews I've read are from the US, which always state 'optional' ABS, I've assumed that it was the same in the UK.
And there have not been that many LR tests done by the US motorcycle press. Most of what is out there are tiny little blurbs. I have yet to see anyone do a real full-length LR test with 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
hell enough is enough! I inquired several dealer opinions to get more HP out of a tune.
without adding parts etc. Except maybe different exhaust. But now I get boarzilla and now a rushwrath exhaust. Now a dealer had a performance builder guy call me and now he is saying I need either exhaust but now tells me I need to go to S&S lifters/ Also he will not use a Harley tune????? WTH? Says I need to buy his tune license for 200.00. for his dyna jet tune! all in all now I am going from changing out exhaust to new lifters, gaskets, dyna tune license, exhaust and his tune for 2000.00 what next! Geeze opinions are like you know what. keep going up....Have not even heard of rush wrath exhaust! what next! Bought a bike now they got me rebuilding it with 1200 miles???

Approaching 11000 miles and my tires still look good. I think I can still get another 2-3K miles before I need to replace them. Hope to combine with my next service so I do not have to make multiple trips.

I know this topic has been beaten to death but I am ready to make my move and I am still not clear.
1) Exhaust slipon. I was told and my internet searches seem to confirm that my options are limited. The dealer recommends SE Nightstick even though he admits he has not done many to ANY bike. The modified mid controls seem to screw us up on exhaust compatibility and his usual aftermarket company, RUSH, doesn't have any choices for this bike. Modular, what is your slip on? It looks good. I mentioned to the dealer that the Nightstick is Supertrap and they make an open end cap and they said if I bought one they would install it. Does anyone here have any personal experience with the Nightstick, open or closed end cap?
2) Air intake. SE sells many open air intakes and the difference seems to be purely cosmetic not functional. Is that true. Am I safe to pick any of the SE choices?
3) The dealer recommends that after I change the exhaust and intake that they do a simple programming download. It would seem that California's successful attempt to take away professional tuning was successful. No more SE professional tuners and dyno tuning.
As a side light, I am pissed. 350,000,000 Americans do not live in California. This is not the first time California Nanny's have screwed over the rest of us when it comes to motor vehicles of all kinds. I wish California would give up and secede form the union. The people who live there will be missed. Their government regulators will not.
