while still cold here in the Northwest, was able to get a short ride in to further test out the supertrapp exhaust. for the most part are good quality, only negative is the heat shields do not have enough air gap and get hotter than the ones on the stock. otherwise am happy with the sound. have started with 18 discs as they recommend, has a bit more roar than the stock (which granted always sounded a bit like had a head cold), but still reasonable DB level that will not annoy the neighbors. fuel moto programed a tune in the power vision that was easy to put into the bike. just waiting for better weather to give it a better tryout.

No riding for me. Last year, I rode plenty in Dec. Not this year. Last year, I also rode in Jan and Fed. So far, not this year. Last rode at the end of Nov. Really wanting to get out and ride.
Still snow and ice on the ground here so no riding for me however I did order some wild1 chubby bars, picked up a turn signal relocation kit (the other day) and some Avon grips. Now I just need to fabricate a new headlight bracket and I can do my swap
Also looking into getting my gas tank dash hydro printed but can't decide what to put on it.
Hi all. Been lurking on this thread for a bit. I live in San Francisco and have owned a handful of different bikes over the last decade including a Yamaha Bolt (most recently), a Victory Cross Roads, and a Sporty 1200XL.
I picked up a "used" 2016 FXDL with about 5,800 miles on it in December. Negotiated some additions and service at the time and just picked up the final-for-now-product this morning. It had already been brought to Stage 1 with a SE Nightstick and a tune.
I've added a JD Customs Fab T-sport repop fairing, painted and pinstriped to match the tank; Lucky Dave's 11" Lucky 13 bars; braided cable and brake line; MoonsMC LED headlight and integrated LED tail light; Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz LED front turn signals; Performance Machine Contour grips; and a black layback plate.
In time, I'll replace the exhaust for something with some heft and get rid of those cats. Will likely powder coat a few of the shiny parts, too, eventually. Anyway, I've learned a fair amount from this thread and seen some cool bikes. Thought I'd share mine.

Looking good. I like the first pic. The pinstripe on the fairing is a very nice touch!

Welcome! Love those bars, of course I might be a bit biased...when you get to looking at the exhaust, I'm a big fan of my Bassani, would recommend a look in that direction for sure...
