did a nice little hundred miles on New Year's Day - check out Tour d'Orange on Facebook. Big car meet that turns into a little run around Orange County - exotics, muscle, import tuner, etc, but I was the only Harley there...had to represent. First pic is next to my co-worker's clean Audi S4 at the finish point that got me to brave the wall of fog for 20 miles to get to the meetup at 730 in the morning...kid you not - I couldn't see more than 20 feet in front of me - no bueno on a freeway, but I lived...2nd pic was at the meetup spot. So much cool metal there...
Here's an album of some of the stuff I saw that day that I thought was cool. Would be killer to get more Harleys and just motorcycles in general to show up next year...
Long stretch of really cold weather where I live. Making sure battery tender is keeping my battery nice and charged. Been a full month since I last rode. The desire to ride is very strong.
Same here. I only got about 60 miles before the weather turned at the start of December. I don't like leaving a bike un-ridden for more than two weeks at a time, and I don't think I've been so long without riding within the last ten years. I'm desperate to ride again.
Rode 460 miles last weekend (3 day). Need to buy tires now. It's always something.
Wish I could say that I rode 46 miles last weekend. But no. Bad weather for 3 solid weeks now. It will finally hit 32 this Sun but snow all day and into Mon.
Yes, the stock "tall boy" saddle isn't too bad for me actually. (Even though it looks like a dead seal draped over the bike!)
Been researching wheel bearings as my new tires (ME888's) just came in today.
Anyone have the Timkin cross reference for the ABS encoded HD part # 9252? Got the 9275-A cross from this site. Just need to get the encoded bearings to upgrade the stock garbage.

Rain had washed away most of the salt and I could bear it no longer, so I got out on the bike today; only about 25 miles, and I took a long time cleaning the bike afterwards - but what a joy this bike is - so strong, so stable, so smooth, so powerful. Longing for some properly good weather to put some decent miles on it.

Engraved Rebellion: Inside Bundnerbike's Glam Rock II
Dropped mine off at the dealer this morning. Speedo needle would drop off and come back up, I'd lose all throttle as if it was unplugged, motor would rev a little as soon as the Speedo drops. Abs light even kicks on and off. Hopefully something simple.
