Love this time of year as the weather is finally getting warm enough to ride often, but I forget all the expenses that come along with it, I should really start doing stuff over the winter lol. Yesterday I picked up new battery, all the stuff for a full service, about to order a new tire, then get it inspected and pay the taxes to renew the tag. So there goes $500 bucks on top of the money I'm putting back for bike week in less than 2 months!

First proper ride of the year yesterday - to Wales and back: just over 230 miles; just over six and a half hours in the saddle. Everything from fast highways to single track mountain roads. Brilliant fun.

Oils/filters? eBay is your friend
Inspected? I'd leave any State that pulled that crap.
New tag? Everyone pays this one, no matter where you are.
Bike Week? No thanks, I'd rather have a paper cut on my eye ball. That's just a cash grab by a greedy promoter.

Looks good. I have always debated upgrading my stock shocks, which seem to me to be fine. I weigh 180 and never ride two up. Lets us know how big an improvement in ride quality the new shocks are.
