Yes, me too! The previous owner fitted a KhromeWerks slip-on without changing the intake or tuning. The dealer said there's no need for a tuner if the intake is unchanged; but, like yours, my bike pops a lot when I roll off the throttle. I have read elsewhere that this isn't a problem providing it doesn't pop when applying the throttle, and mine is fine while holding speed or accelerating. Nevertheless, when the thing is through it's one year warranty, I'll take it to a specialist tuner I trust to make sure it's running as sweetly as possible.
These bikes are tuned really lean from the factory. Any changes to the intake or exhaust can further lean out the mixture. A proper tune will get your bike running better and cooler and will get rid of the decel pop.

An FP3 is probably the first thing I do to this machine.
Never had a PV, I had a Micro EFI that stayed on the Sport. I like that the FP3 literally plugs in and you're done. The Micro EFI was a bit of a pain, I wouldn't want it on this bike.

The FP3 doesn't have the flexibility of the PV, but for me did a good job (Stage 1), and couldn't be any easier or quicker to use.

PV2 is the way to go.
