Have had my low rider going on 4 years, is still just as much fun to ride as it was the first day.

We had a lovely sunny and warm weekend here in England, so I took out the Low Rider and went on a three day tour.

I've admired this bike since he bought it new a few years ago and until recently I had no idea he was planning to trade up. It is stock besides being reflashed for the Vance and Hines short exhaust. I'm really looking forward to learning what I can from this site as I put some miles on this beauty.
Nice...I bought a '15 LR almost a year ago and really like it. There's a lot you can do to that bike. Unfortunately, because of a long, cold, wet winter I've only put about 3,000 miles on it in 10 months...and I also have a Bagger

Wishing I was back out on the road...been stuck driving to work this weekend, house is getting fumigated and I needed to carry a bunch of crap around in my truck...the ride back from Laughlin would sure be nice right now.

I'd hoped that a rattle that tends to occur when I slow down was merely the rear rack rattle that others have mentioned; and today I was able to confirm that. Not needing any luggage, I was able to take a long ride without the rack and was delighted to find that the rattle had disappeared. It was surprisingly hard to pin-point where the rattle was coming from while riding, so this is a good result, and means I won't be worrying about the noise when I can't leave the luggage at home. But I do prefer the look and feel of the bike with no luggage; I guess we all do.

Yep, those detachable sissy bars rattle a little...nothing you can do about it...

I bought it when I bought the bike. You need SOME kind of storage on the LR. Had one on my '06. I've been riding baggers for years and am spoiled. I just added waterproof saddlebags...
