Curious if anyone on this thread has run the Ness Big Brake Kit on their FXDL. If so, how do you like it?
I'm considering it for my next project (after the current powder coat and gauge relo project!). Almost every review of the Big Brake Kit is very good--except for a couple I stumbled across by Low Rider S owners who had bad experiences. Not sure if I should expect any different for an FXDL application.
I do not believe anyone in this thread had added an NBBK. Not sure why you would. The dual front disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power.
20,000 mile service today. The 1˝ hour ride there was much wetter than anticipated. The front brake plunger had been tending to stick again so I had that replaced this time, but otherwise all was well. I took a test ride on an FXDR while my Low Rider was being serviced. It was a lot of fun and nowhere near as uncomfortable as I expected; nevertheless, it was a joy to get back on my Dyna for the ride home. It's nice to take a test ride and return even more content and grateful for what one already has.

Congrads on the 20K service. I have my 30K set for 10-4-19. Also having my new intake and EBS installed.
I've locked up my stock front brakes a few times, I ride canyons and such on the weekends and haven't felt like the brakes were lacking, and I don't exactly ride slow...I think a decent set of pads and some fresh fluid is the best money you can spend. I just don't see spending that much money on a set of rotors and getting good value for money.
Just dropped my bike off at the dealer for the 30K service and the installation of my new intake and EBS with catch can. Also, my kickstand does not spring up like it used to.
I have been reading about the 2020 Low Rider S. That is the only bike in the current lineup that I could see buying. 114 M8 with oil cooler. SE intake. 5 gallon tank. Inverted forks.

Just spoke to my dealer. Also getting new tires (current ones had 15000 miles on them) and replacing the front and rear wheel bearings. I was hoping to stretch the tires into 2020 but they are at the very end of their life now and I still plan to ride another 1000 miles or so in the next two months.
